About me
My counseling journey began long before I became a therapist. I grew up surrounded by mental health struggles as many of my close family members have been affected by it. I went into the field in 2010 looking to better understand myself, family, peers and future clients. Along the way, I discovered the joy in helping others better understand themselves. My experience is vast. I have been in many roles including Crisis Intervention Specialist, Forensic Therapist, Trauma Therapist, Homeless Outreach Counselor, Employee Assistance Counselor and Private Practice Therapist. These roles have helped me gain the tools and understanding needed to be successful in helping my clients to meet their goals. Little did I know, my daughter’s diagnosis of Autism would add yet another focus and passion in my career.
Susan is a great therapist and I have had the pleasure of experiencing firsthand how she cares for her clients. She is compassionate and has the knowledge both personally and professionally. I highly recommend her as a therapist.
